What If… You’re Not from This World?

Close your eyes… or not. But at least imagine yourself on this incredible planet with what it has to offer. The landscape: like the mountains, rivers, oceans, and all the scenic views to you. It’s just everything that this world has to offer, and all you can do is just soak it in. But it is breathtaking, nonetheless.

The people, the music that they create, and all the things that we know that entertains us. The best way to sum up this world is that Earth is the entertainment capital of, at least the galaxy. So… if you’re wondering if “aliens” have not visited us, it might be because they are in disguised. Think Captain Marvel and the skrulls (shapeshifters). They don’t want to destroy us. They are entertained by us. Which is why they would rather choose to be a part of this world. See what we have to offer. And from my point of view, we have a lot to offer!

You could be a part of this world while not being a part of this world. Video games do that to you. Especially if you’re playing The Sims. It’s just a better version of your life. The only problem is your motivation has been taken away from you (probably blame ‘Story Lord’ on that). Other than that, there’s not much more to say. This world pretty much has a little bit of everything.

My only question is: what do people not from this world have to offer? And when I say this, I am hoping that there are solutions to a lot of unanswered problems that is constantly going on with our planet. But anyway, just something to bring to your attention for no reason. That’s why it’s a ‘what if…’

The Problem with Inflation & Cost of Living

Just about everything comes at a price. No matter what it tends to be. It could be buying a coffee, food at a restaurant, or even playing your favorite sport. The cost of all of these and so much more continue to rise. So, what’s the reason behind it? Will it ever stop, let alone slow down? Come with me (as Neil deGrasse Tyson would say) and we’ll go on this exploration with my theory.

As the population around the world continues to increase, that means more mouths to feed (no, I’m not trying to sound like Thanos and wipe out half of civilization to fix this). But it’s not just that, it’s everything that goes with it; clothes, housing and all of its’ components, and pretty much everything to keep everyone entertained. And what do all of these elements create…? Supply and demand.

Because of the rise in population, the demand for products is growing exponentially. Businesses have to comply to these in order to stay running. If you can’t meet expectations to where the world has evolved to, there’s a good chance you may go out of business. Hence the term, “survival of the fittest.”

I hate to say this, but demand has felt higher than ever. Since covid, it appears that people are making up for the loss of loved ones. Prices of eggs are insanely high. It made me have to stop buying them for a long while. Either I have to have a little farm for myself or switch over to being a vegan. Since I’m somewhat broke and don’t have my own land, I chose the latter.

Anyway, I’ve lost my point (as always), but I digress. Leading me to my next point. Can we do something about it? I believe we can. It’s going to take some work, but if we all do even a small part, it will make all the difference. At my school growing up, they taught us a valuable lesson in the 3 R’s: reduce, reuse, recycle.

Something tells me that as an entire civilization that we consume way too much. For example, if something is used up a little bit, it gets thrown out instead of looking to see if it can be refurbished. I know this isn’t one of the 3 R’s, but it still has the “reee” in it. But what I mean is can this item, this product still be used just fine if we put a little TLC to it? And by that of course; tender, love & care. If you don’t treat your personal items like this, then I don’t want no scrubs. (I… am an idiot, I know)

Again, as I was saying, the biggest thing about recycling is that if we don’t do it, we are literally destroying the planet. There’s an actual garbage island from what I saw on Family Guy. I know, it’s a cartoon show but that doesn’t mean they don’t have valid points in them. I believe we keep forgetting that every resource on this beautiful planet is limited. But we have to do better. Otherwise, it’s like we failed, and I would hate to see that. In a way, I see myself to be like Captain Planet.

Let’s do our part and make these changes now. Even if you’re just one person, anything helps. But deep down, we’re all one (whatever that means… use your imagination).

Are Natural Disasters Man Made?

What’s the most important resource on this planet? Water… (that I know of) I read on a post that Vegas is recycling their water. They found a way to reuse it. Which is great for this planet. And then also something about swimming pools shouldn’t be made in residential households (don’t quote me on that). My point is, it’s a small step in the right direction. We just need to implement this for the rest of the world. Finding ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Something that I learned way back when back in school.

The problem is that we are wasting so many resources than we are recycling. Meaning demand continues to rise leading to more drilling and digging into the planet’s crust. When we don’t reuse materials that can be reusable, or recycle for that matter, we’re doing more to damage Earth with our needs and wants for us. We don’t think about mother nature and how she feels. Resources within this planet is finite. But how we choose to use these resources can make it feel as if they were infinite.

That being said, by drilling deeper into Earth’s crust, we may be causing these so-called natural disasters. The reason why earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes/tsunami etc. exist. And same goes for volcanic eruptions as well (possibly). I will say though, without the drilling for fuel, I would not be able to drive my car and get to work and travel. Along with that, the beauty of materials we have here are great. I would not have a roof over my head without it.

But the future is here, and we are transitioning to electric vehicles and solar powered energy which I love. Which is also still a work in progress considering we’re in the earlier stages. Maybe this is the time when we have to endure the pain and suffering from natural disasters. And that is now a part of our history. Possibly in the next decade or so, we can be more efficient with our resources. Whatever it all is, let’s do our part!

What I’m Thankful For

It’s that time of year again. If you’re getting together with family, friends, or just anyone you care about. The holidays are there to bring us closer together. Although, it can be a stressful time of year (from what I heard on the radio), it’s also a wonderful time to be grateful. As we get older, we start to appreciate the little things more. The memories we made growing up and don’t receive as much of in our adulthood.

Life is a passion. Even if it may not go as well as you would like it to. But you can always change it. Change your mindset to something positive and you may just notice things will begin to look up for you. I have experienced lots of negative situations in my life and it also took over my mindset of negative thinking. So, from there that little snowball trickled into a raging snowman, then became an avalanche (wow, that was a terrible metaphor).

Over time that can weigh you down and mess with your mindset. But you can’t let that change who you really are. There’s a caring and loving person within all of us. No matter what your motivator is, whether it’s music, TV, someone you care about, etc. you are driven to always do better. Just gotta figure out what works for you.

Which is why I’m thankful for the world we live in and the life I have. There’s greatness from everywhere within our beautiful planet. The motivation we can receive from just about everything and everyone. Even though we’re not perfect and it may seem like we’re destroying this world, it only takes one of us to change that. Do your part to inspire others and help mother nature so she can take care of us.

The THEORY Behind Men Being from Mars & Women from Venus

What if, a long time ago the race of men and women existed outside of Earth? According to the habitable zone, Venus, Earth, and Mars all fall under that category within our Solar System. Well, at least at one point in time, I’m sure. Considering that we are just a tiny particle within this vast Universe, time for us moves a lot slower. Like, really slow. We’ve only been around for about 6 million years (according to my bing search (don’t judge)), and the Universe has now existed for over 13 billion years. If you’re familiar with the book Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus, by the author John Gray, he writes about how communication and how we are emotionally between men and women are as if we were from different planets. So, let’s take things in a more literal way. What if men were from Mars, and women were from Venus…? Let’s find out!

Have you never wondered why women are typically colder than men? Maybe it goes back to Venus, since it’s much closer to the Sun. Sometime millions or billions of years ago Venus was habitable (just like Mars). Women ruled that world and men didn’t even exist to them. And because the average temperature was much higher than here on Earth, women didn’t have to deal with cold weather. But now because of evolution of time, Venus can no longer obtain life that we know of. But what caused the second planet in our solar system to no longer be habitable, is beyond me.

Then there were men. Who once lived on Mars way back when. Back when Mars’ gravitational pull was much stronger and had a thicker atmosphere. And being that Mars was much further away from the Sun than Venus, men could survive in colder weather. I cannot say the same for women (because I don’t know), but maybe male ego was the reason why Mars lost its’ gravitational pull and atmosphere. Why we can hardly agree on anything, thus leading to a potential nuclear war (at least Mars’ version of a nuke). And just like that, there goes the neighborhood.

However, we can say that there are incredibly intelligent people among men and women that the one’s that made it out of Venus and Mars, found Earth. As in they Christopher Columbus’d space, which led us to where we are today. Men and women together, still figuring each other out. Which is unfortunate, because I thought by now we wouldn’t be discriminating each other based on gender, and not just for that matter. But the color of our skin and how we look. It is sad that we judge one another based on just what we are. It doesn’t define who we are. Every person within this world is unique in their own ways. Just have to listen and learn from each other. Greatness starts with you.

Volcanoes & Mountains: The Simple Version

They are similar to us. And by us, I mean humans. So, best way to put it, what volcanoes are to Earth is what pimples are to us. Pretty much, if not taken care of correctly, it can become disastrous. Good news is volcanoes have gone extinct, just like pimples some of us used to have a lot of to hardly ever. Which is a huge win. All we have to do is take good care of this planet like we do ourselves. At least I would hope we take care of ourselves.

Then you have mountains. Which is like a bad scar, typically one where you would need stitches. It’s now rigid and bumpy, just like a mountain. They are also really cool to look at (not scars, unless it’s a badass one with a nice story to tell). The elevation, how it looks, and does make for a great screen saver. I also enjoyed how Bob Ross creates his mountains in his paintings. Such a thing of beauty. The way he whacks the brush off to dry them. #RIPBobRoss

And that is my simple version of volcanoes and mountains. Hope you enjoyed! Until next time.

Theories: Mind, Soul & Body

Where did we come from? Why do we exist? What’s in stored for our future? Just a few of many questions to the endless possibilities of what life has to offer. In this post, I will go through from my experiences and theories about these questions and many more…

Where Do We Come From?

Before you ask, I am human (as far as I know). At least I’m in a human body. And also, before you start questioning me, this is a theory by the way. Let’s go back in time to the evolution of humans. How we started out in the water and worked our way up to land and something something something, we formed into apes, we became human beings, and a movie about Planet of the Apes existed… Now, with that being said, when it comes to planet Earth, we have always been here. At least since our existence. But from starting fire and whatnot, our souls, our consciousness wasn’t always there. What if we were from elsewhere? Where that might be specifically, I couldn’t tell ya. But considering this beautiful planet and the life it formed, there just had to be something… human? into it.

Why Do We Exist?

There are so many theories on this question alone. But if I had to choose just one reason, it’s because we are being tested. Finding out if we can work together, get along, and thrive as a species. To make the world a better place. To quote Donald Trump’s ad campaign (in my own words), “make the world great again.” Or it’s just to see what we can do or accomplish with what we’re given. Who knows why we actually exist? But that is also part of being human. We’re not supposed to know everything. As far as I know when it comes to being human, we make mistakes, and we’re here to learn from it and make better life choices and carry that on to our off springs, at least to those who do have children. The other reason is because of evolution. So, if we just so happen to develop a consciousness, a mind of our own, then so be it. I believe that there’s more to it.

What’s In Stored For Our Future?

This one in a way goes hand-in-hand with existing. Our future in my opinion is to see if we can, as The Beatles would say, “Come Together.” To what the higher power would see it as, can we get along? Or maybe it’s just to see what a bunch of random jobins can do in this beautiful world we call Earth. If you’re a fan of Interstellar, then you’ll know that our time on this planet is limited. So can we take this species of humans and possibly other animals within our planet and move everyone and everything to another world to survive. To continue the life of not only the human race, but potentially other lives within this planet. I do give Elon Musk a huge amount of credit for wanting to colonize Mars. Because in order to expand our race, we need to see if we can explore the Galaxy… and eventually, the Universe.

Summary

Life can be difficult, believe me. But that’s kind of the point. We need difficulties to learn and overcome any obstacles that comes our way. To every one of us as individuals. Don’t result to the worst possible outcome. When you take the low road, it’s cheating. It means you’ve given up on this life you’re given. I know, because I’ve had these thoughts in my head about why I’m here and what’s my point. Like I’m chosen for a specific task or duty. Sometimes living life isn’t enough, so we have to do more. We have to be more. Otherwise, there is no future in this life. In humanity. If that’s all too much to ask of you, then at least live the best life you could ever live. No regrets. Mistakes are always made, but they’re mistakes we learn from. It helps us be a better person. And for those of you who do want to make a difference in this world, keep grinding. Keep putting in the hard work, because one day it will pay off. If there’s nothing you feel you would take from this, then hopefully this will… “Inspire change.” As they say. No matter who you are or what you do, you have the power to inspire and motivate those around you to make positive choices in life that could lead to so much more.

All it takes is you… be that inspiration.

Guardian Angel

I can’t speak for everyone when it comes to the spirit and soul having a connection with a higher power. But I’ve seen my fair share of YouTube videos where people were put into a life and death situation and last second being protected from leaving this world. It’s not just life and death that these angels are here watching over us for, but with the obstacles and difficulties we find ourselves in. If life were too easy to manage, then we wouldn’t learn any real lessons. Take me for example. My life has been very difficult and a lot of situations I’ve been in were a trainwreck, in which I’ve learned a lot of lessons from. I have asked to those watching over me to take it easy a bit. As in if this life was like a video game, to turn the difficulty settings down a notch or two. I’m not ready to play on All-Madden yet or Survival mode in Fallout 4 where when you get shot, your health continues to deplete until your inevitable death. And that’s how life is here on Earth. After so many thousands of years the human race has existed on this planet, we’re all still hating on each other because of the color of our skin and living together on this beautiful planet that we’re destroying.

Rick & Morty was right. Remember that episode where the world of snakes was at war with each other over race? I know it’s just an animated television show but there’s some truth to that. It’s terrible. To this day, we’re still dealing with that. I was door dashing the other week and went to pick up a food order from this bar, and while I was waiting for the order to be ready, this older gentle… I don’t even think I can call him a gentleman considering how he wouldn’t stop staring at me (and not in a good way). Just a straight up angry b*tch face. That made me feel out of place and uncomfortable. I wasn’t harming anybody. Just doing my job and trying to make a living. Anyway, I just felt like I had to get some of these things off my chest. All I know is, I’m not giving up on this planet. There’s still so much fascinating sites and scenery to see in this world that I would love to visit… and I’m sure many of you would too!

If Your Fart Smells… Is That Unhealthy?

After many, many years of farting, it finally occurred to me how toxic a fart can actually be. It’s one thing to smell your own fart knowing it’s bad, but at least you can tolerate it. And of course, it’s another to smell someone else’s. A part of me will start to dry heave, almost to the point of vomiting. Actually… I do remember vomiting from a friend of mine just from his fart. Anyway, with my theory on dairy products and just many things acidic, our stomachs have to endure quite a bit of punishment. Breaking down what’s bad and using what’s good to expand into the body to grow. Or at least that’s what I remember from The Magic School Bus about the digestive system. Which brings me to my next point. Since we can all remember (for most of us at least), we were told to eat our vegetables growing up. And that makes so much sense now. Earth grown, natural (I hope) greens from vegetables and fruits that would probably make a healthy sounding fart with little to no toxicity. Isn’t that the whole reason about pineapples? Not just because of Christopher Walken, but it’s supposed to make a little something taste better. I really don’t know, but if it’s to help my digestive system out, I’m game! And that is my theory on farts. Smell ya in the next one!
